Kinesiology pulled me in years ago
I remember in my first year of naturopathy college, there were weeks where all I could think about was when I would be able to start studying kinesiology. I even went so far as to speak to one of my lecturers who I really got along well with – I asked her Do you think it’d be too much to study naturopathy and kinesiology at the same time?
She could sense my urgency. I needed to learn this beautiful energy healing modality, and I felt I couldn’t wait. I remember her response very well. She said the right time would present itself, and I wouldn’t even need to second-guess it.
I am so glad that time presented itself back in 2013, not just so that I could deepen my own understanding of this beautiful work, but so that I can work with women from around the world to help them get unstuck and move mountains in their own lives.
Let me tell you a little more about what this beautiful healing work has done for me…
But firstly, what is Kinesiology?
In kinesiology, we use the gentle art of muscle testing to communicate with the body and subconscious mind to figure out what’s going on, where they may be imbalances and blockages, and what you need in order to move forwards.
Kinesiology helps you find clarity, connection and a sense of ease and freedom in your life. It helps you get ‘unstuck’ when you’re overwhelmed and confused about what your next step may be.
In my clinic, I combine kinesiology with naturopathy (which includes herbal medicine, herbal essences and nutritional medicine, as well as lifestyle changes and gentle coaching) in order to help you find a really deep, easy sense of health and wellbeing.

Can Kinesiology be your lifesaver?
I’m gonna go with a… yes.
Because, quite simply, it’s been mine.
Kinesiology has helped me get to where I am in every aspect of my life – with myself, relationships, family, work, and more. It has helped me to build a beautiful resilience which I carry through with me each and every day. It has also helped guide me intuitively, and allowed me to start listening to my body in an even deeper, more intuitive and more holistic way.
No longer do I view certain emotions as being a ‘bad’ thing, but rather I look to find the cause of the emotion. What’s really going on? What is this triggering for me? What does it mean, and how can I get ‘unstuck’ from it?
I never knew Kinesiology could be so powerful
But it is, and it has honestly changed my life.
It gives me a softer lens with which to look through life. I seem to be able to process situations in a much calmer, smoother way. I worry less, I can look after myself better, and I know what I need in order to infuse my day and my life with positivity. Situations which used to seem insurmountable can now be broken down into manageable, enjoyable and simple tasks.
I can find my way out of complexity by simplifying, with ease.
Bad days can seem meaningful, and I no longer hold onto them.
Emotional ‘stuckness’ can be released quickly, so that I can find a sense of harmony again.
I don’t judge myself like I used to.
And aligning myself to how I really want to feel, what I really want to achieve, and how I really want to get there, is one of the most beautiful things I can do for myself.
It has saved me from things like:
- Feeling completely overwhelmed and lost as to what to do next
- Stressing and worrying about to do next
- Overthinking and overanalysing everything
- Feeling sad or depressed for seemingly no reason (there’s always a reason! Lets tap into your body’s wisdom and find out what’s really going on)
- Feeling out of alignment and out of whack with myself, my spirit, and my life
- Feeling like I’ve overcommitted and made things hard for myself, and feeling trapped (we don’t have to feel that way)
- Feeling confused about what my body needs
- Taking on other peoples’ ‘stuff’ and negative energy, and thinking it’s my own (hence, learning how to protect my own energy)
- Feeling guilty for something, and letting it eat me up
- Getting stuck thinking about a certain situation and catastrophising it
Now… I use kinesiology to help me release blockages, stuckness, confusion and fatigue.
Kinesiology gives me clarity, connection, focus, ease, alignment and freedom.
It’s honestly one of the most brilliant things I’ve ever done for myself.
