Are you constantly comparing yourself to others?

Sometimes, our comparison and envy can get the better of us

Sometimes, our envy can turn to anger, and our eyes that once saw stars now see something worse than green.

Sometimes, if we’re really honest, we wonder why someone else has something that we want, when we’ve been trying to create it for ourselves for so long, and feel as though we have nothing to show for it… yet.

Thinking this way is a distraction though. It’s also painful, and debilitating, and it stems from fear, lack, and jealousy.

It’s the opposite of living a joyful, abundant and expansive life; a life in which we extend love to each other, rise with each other, and support each other.

This judgment through comparison can happen to the best of us—even if it’s just momentary—and if or when it happens, it’s up to us to breathe in, and let it go.

If or when we compare ourselves to others, it’s so important to remember that if we’re judging someone for having something that we want, then on some level we’re creating blocks in the creation of what we desire in our own lives.

Think about it; if you’re annoyed or upset that someone has what you want, on a deep level one could ask the question, do you really want to create your own version of that dream or vision?

How will you do it if you’re feeling annoyed at someone who’s created something that resonates with you?

Annoyance and aligned action don’t go together like peanut butter and honey.

Part of your journey into getting free and clear of the comparison trap is noticing this, acknowledging this, extending love and good vibes to those who ‘have what you want’ in a sense, and then stepping back into your own power to create your version of it… or something better.

The next time you find yourself comparing yourself to someone else and feeling frustrated, resentful or upset, tune back into yourself.

Remind yourself that to create your own version of whatever it is you want in your life, you have to fully accept when someone else has it too

And then, funnel your energy into the creation of your own dreams and desires.

Stop looking outside of yourself; it’s time to create from within.
